Food Compatibility Test

Are the foods you eat compatible with your body? Are you eating foods that could be contributing to your health complaints? This test reveals the foods affecting your health and wellness. It is not a one-size-fits-all solution. It reveals which foods and products are best for you as an individual.

The Food Compatibility Testing has been developed by naturopaths after 30 years worth of work and research. It is Australian-owned and operated and is so successful it now services over 20 countries across the world.

The Food Compatibility Test is especially useful for young children and babies where it can quickly identify problematic foods. Where an elimination diet (for example eliminating dairy) is not practical, this test can help to identify exactly what foods have a positive or negative influence for you as an individual.

The test is fast and easy and comes with a complimentary consultation with the naturopath to discuss the results and how to implement them. You’ll know what to do to achieve results.

Feed the body correctly and allow the body to repair itself. By eating the foods compatible to your body for a period of time (up to 6 months) your body has time to heal and these foods may be able to be reintroduced.

From a tiny hair sample over 500 foods and products are tested for compatibility. This non-invasive test is great for babies, kids and adults and is a game changer in kids health, skin conditions, food reactions and any condition that has some inflammation involved. This test creates a personalised diet for you based on your unique cellular chemistry.

Every cell in the body relies on electrical stimulation for proper cellular function. Assimilation (taking nutrition into the cell) plus elimination and secretions at cellular level, rely on electrical stimulation.

We simply cannot get nutrition in and waste secretions out of the cells without the correct electrical charge within the cell/cell membranes.

Foods contain their own electrical systems as well. These electrical systems in the food can sometimes interfere with the electrical systems within cells. The result is poor cellular function.

By removing these reactive and aggravating foods, we allow the cells to repair and function normally.

THE COST OF THE HAIR TEST INCLUDES

* Hair testing food compatibility for over 500 foods and products (note the 500 foods and products, plus additional baby products are tested if the baby test option is purchased).

* A telehealth consultation with our naturopath for 20-30 minutes to review your results and how to implement.

* Results returned via email within 10 working days (in most instances) of receipt of hair sample at the laboratory.

* A comprehensive compatibility report (see sample report in the product description).

* At the end of the first month the naturopath will contact you via email to specifically review progress on the compatibility diet. Should you wish for additional support after this time please feel free to book either a follow up consult.

When you order the test we will email you the following information:

* A form, usually online, with a list of health symptoms for you to check off.

* Information on the size sample of hair to take and how to take the sample.

* Address to post the hair sample to.

Take the hair sample and place it in a zip lock bag, zip it closed and post it to the laboratory.

Test results take approximately 10 days upon receipt of the hair sample at the laboratory.

Please note only one person’s hair must go into one zip lock bag.

Please ensure the zip locked bag is labelled with the correct person’s name.

If the test is for a breastfed baby, mum’s hair sample should go into one bag and babies into another, with each bag labelled with the correct person's name.

This test uses a small piece of hair (approximately 1/2 tsp) cut from the nape of the neck. It can be from one piece, or made up of multiple smaller pieces. It does not matter if the hair is dyed or treated. Please ensure the hair sample is clean (washed in the last 48 hours).

The test can also use facial or arm/leg hair if head hair is not available.

This test is for those in Australia as it tests for foods common in Australia.

If you wish to include the baby test, the baby list is for foods and products in Australia only.

The test reveals the foods and products that have a positive or negative influence on you as an individual.

During the free telehealth appointment with the naturopath you will be given a progress report that you may wish to follow for at least the first 4 weeks of eating according to the compatibility report.

It is recommended that you should consume and use the products that are compatible for your body for a period of 6 months. You may wish to support the healing of your condition during this time via either naturopathic support or any other healing modality you prefer.

It is recommended you retest at the end of 6 months to see changes to compatible/incompatible items and at this time you may wish to begin to introduce some of the foods that are no longer incompatible.

THIS TEST IS NOT ALLERGY TESTING. This is a compatibly test which tests for food and products that are compatible or incompatible with the individual. Compatibility can be likened to food intolerance or sensitivity elimination diets however with the compatibility test the food has been identified as incompatible for the individual, rather than being suspected as been reactive.

If you expect an allergy, which produces an quick and extreme reaction, it is best you obtain a skin prick test through your GP. Allergy results can be combined with the result of the food compatibility test to provide a comprehensive overview.

* If testing for a baby and the baby is breastfed a sample of both mum and bub’s hair is required.

* It is recommendedd, though not a requirement, that you re-test after 6 months. This is not a long-term diet, but rather a way of eating that reduces incompatible foods and products to allow your body time to heal. It is expected that you will be able to re-introduce certain foods after 6 months.

* Food and product inclusions in this test may be added without notice as the test is always being further developed.
