GymbaROO Active Babies

I took my daughter to GymbaROO classes (also known as KindyROO) from 3 months to 3 years and it was one of the best things I ever did for her development. The activities are tailored to each age and full of all the necessary movement to promote fine and gross motor skills. In addition there are activities for vestibular development and eye tracking. As the child grows older other activities are incorporated which all help prepare the child for school. If you have the opportunity to attend a GymbaRoo class I highly recommend it. Find a centre here.

GymbaROO also offer 12 free online baby videos that help parents lay down the necessary foundations for learning in the first year of babies life. Access the free Active Babies series here.

JettProof Sensory Solutions

JettProof is an Australian company that provides calming solutions for those with sensory needs. It was started by a mother whose son was autistic and suffering many meltdowns. Searching for solutions that she couldn’t find she developed her own clothing that could be worn under regular clothing to aid self-regulation. It works!! Their sensory clothing is great. My daughter has always disliked tight clothing and the little lines on socks, well they really annoy her. My mum heard of JettProof and got her some socks for school. Now we have no more meltdowns about the annoying socks!!
